Since the last year, Revd Dr Keith Scott is coming to lecture on theology subjects. Keith is from CMS Ireland and he has lived and worked in Zambia for a number of years. With a long experience teaching theology in African context and traditions, Dr Keith found no difficulty in complying with Burundian context when teaching. Students in theology are enjoying his lectures with enthusiasm. After lecturing on the epistles of John, he will teach the book of Revelation. Like any other teacher, he likes assigning home readings to his students and that will be restituted before the following day’s lecture.
During these six weeks’ stay, Dr Keith will be able to help the university get in touch with some other partners, like he did last year. He will also travel to rural places to experience how Burundians live and worship.
BCU is grateful to his work and caring friendship. Thanks to his facilitation, the university has improved its internet connection. Now there is a good internet connection which was funded by Saint Augustine Foundation.
