As the Anglican Diocese of Bujumbura marked its Golden Jubilee, eight alumni of Bujumbura Christian University (BCU) were ordained as pastors, and two as deacons, highlighting BCU’s growing impact in Church leadership.
The celebration included a solemn ceremony at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, where new canons were appointed alongside the ordinations. It was a moment of great joy as the newly ordained servants expressed their gratitude and commitment to serving the Church.
Representatives from BCU attended the event to support the graduates and took the opportunity to promote the university’s mission, inviting new students to register in its diverse academic programs.
BCU remains steadfast in its vision of training Christ-centered leaders to serve both the Church and the Nation in various sectors.
